SARA Plus announced the completion of the first full-channel deployment of enhancements to its proprietary order-entry platform. This marks a significant milestone in improving how dealers sell and manage DIRECTV commercial products. As DSI is DIRECTV’s exclusive commercial distributor, all commercial sales in the indirect channels are now processed in the updated SARA Plus system.
The recent enhancements to the platform streamline the sales process. Moving to a browser-based interface unifies the system across mobile, tablet, and desktop environments. This results in a consistent and intuitive order entry experience, and the full suite of improvements also provide better usability, flexibility, and quality controls.
These updates build on an already robust system that has all the tools needed to operate and manage a successful business. SARA Plus supports service availability checks, inventory management, order entry, and installation scheduling in a variety of sales environments, including call centers, door-to-door, and national retail.

The platform currently supports order processing for 14 partners across the video, wireless, and internet sectors. Over the next several months, SARA Plus will extend the enhanced platform to DIRECTV’s indirect residential channels, as well as additional partners including AT&T, Brightspeed, Kinetic, Optimum, and more.
Originally launched in 2013 as the Sales and Reporting Application (SARA), the platform was later rebranded to SARA Plus™. It has supported DIRECTV order entry since its launch and is now used to process millions of sales across DIRECTV and its other partners every year.
